This treatment depends on which cognitive functions are affected and the severity of the affection.

Personalized attention is given not only to the patient, but to everything surrounding his/her particular case. We have counseling services for family members which is essential during the specialized treatment; one must never forget that serious brain injury changes the lives not only of the patient, but also of the family. The family faces a totally new situation and, in most cases, feels lost and does not know what to do or to say to the affected family member. Our counselors focus on reducing situations of anxiety and tension that can arise in daily life for both patient and family members. For this reason, family counseling is well thought out and very important during C.RE.CER. treatment.
